Hospice Volunteers – Benefit Dance (Sept. 26)

The Sukeforth family and friends will host a dance featuring the popular group Fallen Angel on Saturday, September 26, at Sukee Arena at 25 Verti Drive in Winslow. Proceeds will benefit Hospice Volunteers of Waterville Area and the Spectrum Generations Meals on Wheels program of Kennebec and Somerset counties.

The Sukeforth family and their friends are organizing the event. "These are two very worthwhile charities in our area," said Doug Sukeforth. "This event piggybacks on the 3rd annual BingSol Pig Roast and Auction that we hold at our camp in Bingham on October 10."

Tickets for the dance are $10.00 per person. Doors open at 8:00 p.m. The Holiday Inn in Waterville will operate a cash bar. Guests must be 21 years or older. Refreshments will be available to purchase and a 50/50 raffle promises to create excitement for the evening! To purchase tickets, call Annette Sukeforth Marin at 872-0117 or stop by the Hospice Community Center at 304 Main Street or the Muskie Center at 38 Gold Street, both in Waterville.

For more information about the free end-of-life and grief support services offered by Hospice Volunteers of Waterville Area go to www.hvwa.org or phone 873-3615. To learn about the Spectrum Generations Meals on Wheels Program, call 800-639-1553 or visit the website.
