Hospice Garden Party (June 16, 2012)

Summer Solstice in the Garden, to benefit Hospice Volunteers of Waterville Area (HVWA), will be held on Saturday, June 16 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Fieldstone Gardens on Quaker Lane in Vassalboro.

There will be gardening workshops, music, local artisans, garden tours, children’s activities, and live alpacas. Relax in the beautiful gardens and enjoy a gourmet luncheon.

All proceeds benefit HVWA. $5 admission fee for all. Includes a Fairy Feast for children. Gourmet luncheon is $10 for adults. A free Iris Siberica “Harpswell Happiness” to the first 100 guests (18 and older). Children under 12: Visit the alpacas and be eligible to win an alpaca teddy bear. Preregister at 873-3615 or www.hvwa.org/events-calendar and be eligible for hourly door prizes.
