Hospice Volunteers – Hope's Place Facilitator Training (Nov. 2)Hospice Volunteers of Waterville Area will hold a 32-hour facilitator training for Hope's Place volunteers beginning Monday, November 2, 2009 at the Hospice Community Center, 304 Main Street. Hope's Place is free program for grieving children and teens that serves any family in Central Maine who has experienced the death of a significant person in their lives. Training class size is limited so early registrations are recommended. To register or get more information, contact Jillian Fortin, Youth Services Coordinator, at Hospice Volunteers of Waterville Area serves 27 communities in Central Maine. It provides non-medical support to individuals and their families during the last phases of life and to loved ones throughout the grieving process and educates the community on issues related to death and grieving.
